(NET Script)
Attention all stations, this is (**YOUR CALL**), Net Control Operator for the Washington County ARES Net. This is a directed net and all
communications will be carried out at my direction. All hams in any location inside or outside of Washington County are welcome to participate in the net.
Please hold non-emergency traffic until after check-ins are complete. If you have traffic, call NET CONTROL and give your call sign and an indication of message priority or weather condition and wait until instructed to relay your traffic. Message priority allows Net Control to determine which station needs immediate net access.
I will now pause for emergency traffic. This is the Washington County ARES Net Control.
(Pause here momentarily for emergency traffic. If there is any, of course deal with it before starting check-ins!)
This is the Washington County ARES Net Control. We will now begin check-ins. Please state your Callsign and whether you have traffic.
(Acknowledge each check-in BRIEFLY.)
(After all check-ins have been acknowledged, net control should go down the list of check-ins for comments and announcements. If there are new participants, ask for location of their station and specifically welcome them to the net.)
The net will pause for any late check-ins. Any additional stations wishing to check in, call now.
(Acknowledge any late stations and get comments.)
This is the Washington County ARES Net Control. Thanks to everyone for checking-in. Tonight we had (number of check-ins). The net is hereby secured and we return the frequency to normal ham activity.
